Ipswich Thrive Business Festival
Lead Project Manager on behalf of Ipswich Borough Council to deliver their annual Business Festival.
Suffolk Big Weekend
Acting on behalf of Ipswich Borough Council on a combined authority basis to collaborate with all four Local Authorities within Suffolk to engage with tourism, hospitality and leisure businesses in the area to take part of the Suffolk Big Weekend.
Project Manager
Providing day to day management support to a leading EDI company focused on Anti-racism, working with Coporate and Public sector organisations. Work includes quotes and bookings for training or keynote talks, project management of large public sector contracts.
Business Development
Working with a client who is a HSE specialist in Noise and Acoustics in who works with large manufacturering and engineering firms in hearing health and care for workforces exposed to high levels of noise and vibration. To build her brand and business by implementing processes and the foundation for growth enabling her to expand the business and employ staff.
Project Director
Co-founder of the Digital Advice Service, funded by Suffolk Growth and supported by Ipswich Borough Council. The initiative was a 12 month project to provide support to Ipswich based business as part of the post Covid recovery plan.
Business Development
Working with a private security compnay based in London to develop a business development strategy and plan, then implement the plan on behalf of the client to improvde trading and company standards. This also involved sourcing and recruiting a permanent employee to continue the role going forwards.
Lets Get Social Conferences
Lets Get Social started as a collaboration between Virtual Prestige and Dot to Dot Training & Consultancy upon being awarded a funding pot to deliver a conference specific to the VCSE sector in Ipswich, funded by Ipswich Borough Council. This great initiative goes from strength to strength and is now in it's third year of delivery.
Project Management
Providing back office support to FIPS a local steering group initiative backed by Ipswich Borough Council. Previously on the Board, now actively promoting the group and their events on their behalf.
Business Development and Project Management
Providing support to a leading Social Enterprise consultancy who works with VSCE organisations across the country in maximising their social impact.
Coordinator & Evaluator
Coordination and project management of an EDP programme on behalf of a client. Additionally to co-host an evaluation day for the programme candidates who were all from the VSCE sector, more specifically those providing access to the outdoors for disadvantaged communities, to then co-write the evaluation of the programme.
Business Growth Consultant
Working with an experienced disability advocate and trainer to establish her training & consultancy business. Taking her through the stage of owning and running a businesss, marketing and sales strategies and techniques to successfully engage a client base.
Business Growth Consultant
Over a 6 month period working with an experienced Head Teacher to establish his own Alternative Provision School successfully. Within 6 months he had secured funding, a property for the school, gained county council approval, and was at full capacity for young people attending the school.
Project Manager
Working in collaboration with a team of project managers to successfully deliver a Start Up programme for early stage business owners in upskilling them through workshops, peer groups and 1:1 coaching, setting them on the right path to starting a successful business. A programme funded by a local authority through the prosperity fund.
Project Manager - Youth Entrepreneurs
Commissioned to project manage a NEETS Youth Entrepreneur Programme, we designed a framework programme with Two Business Coaches who would deliver the training, that could be taken into any Youth Work Provider in Ipswich to work with their young people across two weeks on a part time basis to teach young people about starting their own business.
Candidates who went through the programme were 18-25 years old, and categorised as NEETS. The purpose of the programme was to inspire young people to consider starting their own business and was funded by Ipswich Borough Council.
Business Development
Through strategic consultancy focused on sales & marketing to build an action plan to assist a Tech company as they came out of COVID to stablise their company financially. This included softskills training for tech staff in sales techniques.
Grant Application
Working with a current client to write a succesful grant application for an Innovate UK grant of £50k for the development of innovative software for Digital Wellbeing in the workplace.
Board Advisory
Through consultancy provide board guidance on governance in creating and managing an all female Black led CIC and their committments to their community. Helping them craft a plan of action to maximise social impact for equality, diversity and inclusion.
Project Management
ISTN is a local community based CIC focused on the tech sector within Suffolk. We provided support on a Project Co-ordinator basis to manage the website, organise and promote free events and training for shared learning within the sector.
